The predecessor of the Medical School of Jinhua Polytechnic was the Jinhua Gospel Hospital Senior Nursing Vocational School, founded in 1915. In 1952, it was renamed Zhejiang Jinhua Health School. In 1980, it was selected as the only national key health school in Zhejiang Province. In 1994, it was selected as a national key ordinary secondary vocational school. In August 2000, it was upgraded to the Medical School of Jinhua Polytechnic. In July 2024, it was upgraded to the Medical School of Jinhua Polytechnic University. Its century-long development has left its mark as Jinhua Medical College, Jinhua Medical University, and Zhejiang Medical University Jinhua Branch. It has cumulatively trained over 40,000 technical and skilled personnel for society.
The JH-ST3000 freezing point osmoremeter is an osmolality measuring instrument designed based on the principle of freezing point depression. It consists of a refrigeration system, a thermistor for measuring current or potential difference, and an oscillator (or metal probe). During measurement, the probe is immersed in the center of the test solution and lowered into the instrument's cooling tank. The refrigeration system is activated, and when the temperature of the test solution drops below its freezing point, the instrument uses the oscillator (or metal probe) to induce freezing, automatically recording the temperature drop. Applications include: clinical laboratories, general internal medicine, urology, nephrology, pediatrics, gynecology, hemofiltration, hemodialysis, pharmacies, intensive care units (ICUs), IVF, veterinary medicine, forensic medicine, botany, physiology, scientific research and industrial fields, biotechnology, electron microscopy applications, and the pharmaceutical industry.
