The penetration tester is an automatic and intelligent instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations stipulated in the 2020 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China "0983 Penetration Test Method" and the GB1790-2003 "Pharmaceutical Vaseline" standard. It is mainly applicable to semi-solid substances such as ointments, lubricating greases, eye ointments and their commonly used base materials (such as vaseline, lanolin, beeswax), to control their softness, hardness and viscosity and other properties, and avoid affecting the coating extensibility of drugs. Penetration refers to the depth to which a certain mass of a cone penetrates the test sample within 5 seconds after being released from a penetration meter by free fall at 25℃. Main functional features: The instrument is mainly composed of a chassis frame, a touch display, a lead screw lifting system, a constant temperature control system, a conical connecting rod assembly, a displacement measurement system, and other components. By adopting computer control technology, the penetration test is automatically completed, and the test results are automatically displayed after the experiment is finished. It adopts a touch screen human-machine interface, with intuitive display, rich content and convenient operation. The automatic lifting structure ensures smooth lifting and accurate positioning. The rotary encoder switch and the lifting button switch are adopted, and the lead screw slider is driven by a stepping motor to achieve high-precision point adjustment for rapid lifting. This instrument is equipped with an integrated constant temperature water bath inside, featuring constant temperature control functions for both cooling and heating. It adopts semiconductor refrigeration technology and PID control algorithm, with a temperature control accuracy of ±0.1℃, meeting the temperature requirements stipulated in national standards. The designed cold light source conical illumination technology makes conical alignment convenient and accurate. The conical rod assembly mechanism features high precision, quick disassembly, and strictly complies with national standard requirements. The system can store 200 sets of data, which can be directly viewed on the touch screen or transferred and exported via a USB flash drive. Meanwhile, the system is equipped with a 485 interface (MODBUS protocol), enabling real-time data networking. The self-developed computer control software can achieve communication with the computer and pass the penetration test. Various specifications of No. II cones, No. III cones, sample cups, desktop micro printers, etc. can be selected according to the user's needs.
